**SOLD** J207 Wonderful 19th century New England Lantern with beautiful Windsor green paint and red pin striping. Very unusual Lantern featuring a wooden case with old wavy glass window lights on three sides with metal rods on each end to protect the old wavy glass.  There is a door that opens on the back so the burner can be removed. Molded edge around the openings for the glass. The top of the Lantern opens to the venting system. Heavy iron handle for carrying. Burner is marked “made in United States of America”. In the correct light, you can make out the stenciling on the back that reads: “Manufactured for Shawpepper & Slocum Fairport NY”. 

Measurements: 8 1/2” wide x 5 1/2” deep x 9 1/2” tall to top of handle
