**SOLD** J279 Early 19th century Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Kas with beautiful original red painted surface resting on turned feet bearing original black painted surface. Dovetailed case features outstanding molding around top and bottom and chamfered corners along the front edges. Two doors over two dovetailed drawer configuration with both doors being fully mortised and wooden pegged construction. Each door features two inset panels with a single bead along each edge of the door and working locks. Single beaded edge along top and bottom of each drawer. The divided interior boasts shelves with beaded edges. Clean, natural patina interior. Square head nail construction. Circa 1820s. Measurements: 45 ¼” wide (top) x 18 ½” deep (top) x 73 5/8” tall
