**SOLD** J306 Early tin Lantern with three glass sides and raised feet. The circular vent hole at top is adorned with fluted scalloped edges and a leaf-shaped embossed hood to protect the interior from wind/rain.  Decorative cutouts adorn the top and bottom edges of side panels to allow for airflow.  This unique lantern has two ways to access the internal candle socket – through a hinged metal door on front, or through a hinged top that is secured with a sturdy locking wire.  Shaped tin handle with folded edges attached to back for carrying purposes. Measurements: 8 ¾” tall x 5 ¾” wide across front x 6 ¼” deep (including handle)
