J354 Early 20th century Folk Art Ship Model attributed to Lloyd Tyler of Crisfield Maryland bearing its original red, black and white painted surface. Model features great attention to details, such as a hand-carved propeller, realistic air vents and smokestack, metal rimmed portholes, incised windows and a wire railing. Lloyd J. Tyler (1898 - 1971) was a folk artist, and Decoy carver who grow up in the waterfront community of Crisfield, Maryland, on the Eastern Shore. 

Approximate measurements: 13 ½” long x 3 ¾” wide x 7” tall.
