J356 19th century oversized wooden Skeleton Key Locksmith’s Trade Sign from Baltimore, Maryland. Very weathered surface retains traces of the original gold painted surface with remnants of layers of paints including silver and gray. The rounded end has been covered with tin at some point. Great example of a handmade advertising trade sign.

Measurements: 53 ¼” long x ~3” thick x 21 ½” tall on the rounded end and 13” tall on the opposite end.
