*SOLD* J367 18th century pine / walnut cutting board retaining original dry red surface on the exterior of the gallery. Note the tapered bottom and small shelf attached to the gallery. Beautiful natural patina to the work surface of the board showing years of wear from the attached cutting knife which is made from a bayonet. The gallery and bottom board are held in place with wooden pegs, sides are dovetailed. Circa 1790 – 1820.
Measurements: 17 ½” wide (front) x 13 7/8” wide (back) x 11 ½” deep x 4 3/8” tall sides.
