Post and panel, rose head and square head nail construction with handmade molded/beaded-edges adorning each post and panel on the cupboard as well as along each edge of the doors. Both doors are fully mortised and wooden pegged. Applied molding around the top. The clean interior of the Kas has hand-hewn shelves (adjustable) with old natural patina. A large, hand-forged iron hook and eye ring secures closure of the left door.  The name “Genevieve Forcier” is handwritten in pencil inside the right door.  Circa 1770 – 1800.
