Remmey of Philadelphia, PA - who was a prominent stoneware maker from the 1860’s – 1900.  The cylindrical form is heavily cobalt decorated on all sides with swags, dashes and highlights at the lug handles. Incised rings at the tooled shoulder add to the visual appeal. The lid is decorated with typical cobalt Remmey swags.
