**SOLD** J429 Stunningly graceful 19th century full body molded copper “Black Hawk” trotting / running Horse Weathervane with cast zinc ears. Attributed to Harris and Company of Boston, Massachusetts. Circa 1875-1890. (NOTE: The racehorse, “Black Hawk”, was a popular winner from the 1840s and was the subject of many weathervanes.) 

Measurements: 26 ½” long x 21” tall. Professionally made base measures 23 ¼” long x 4” wide.
