The unusual configuration consists of two upper doors with two beveled edge spice / candle drawers on each side of the unusually tall, recessed pie shelf which creates a great work surface. The top rests on a base that has three beveled edge drawers above two doors that open to a clean, natural patina interior. The interior of the top retains an original green painted surface with wear indicative of years of use. All doors are fully mortised and are surrounded by beaded edges. Circa 1820s – 1840s.
