Rounded edge molding surrounds the top and between the two sliding lids.  Each of the lids have deeply beveled edges and bear three cut out slots. The lids open individually to reveal divided sections inside that coincide with the location of the slots. A shallow drawer runs the full length and width of the box below the upper sections. Working locks (with key) remain intact on drawer and both sliding lids. Dovetail and “T” nail construction. Circa 1840s-1860s. The wood is pine.
