J60 18th century Shenandoah Valley Virginia very unusual Painted Basin Stand, in its original sage green paint.  The Stand features an opening for the metal basin, and a carved-out soap dish as well as an opening for the shaving mug. Beautiful scalloped drop apron on all four sides of the top, and a bottom shelf that has chip-carved beading around the bottom of the shelf. The wood is yellow pine. The Stand is all original. Circa 1790-1810.   Provenance Sumpter Priddy collection.
