K1117 Original red painted wooden bowl. This heavy bowl is out of round and rests on a slightly raised foot. Bowl boasts slow turned lathe marks and a wide band around the top edge separated by a deeply incised ring encircling the bowl. Interior shows evidence of slow turnings, chop marks throughout, and varied patina levels. There is an early break that goes completely through part of the rim / side that has been secured at some point with tiny metal staples.
Measurements: 13” x 12 ¼” top diameter x 2 ¾” x 3 ¼” tall – depending on where measured.
