K144 Fantastic mid-19th century New England original blue painted oval pantry box. Steamed and bentwood oval form construction tacked opposing finger-laps secured to the top and bottom with tiny tacks and wooden pegs. The bottom’s interior retains an old grungy white painted surface, inside the lid bears natural patina surface. Illegible writing in pencil on bottom of box. Measurements: 6” x 4 ¼” oval x 2" tall
