K146 Exceptionally nice mid – late 19th century Pennsylvania hand woven split oak Buttocks or “Butt” basket bearing natural patina surface. Thick, securely wrapped rim with steamed and bentwood handle and a total of 42 ribs secured by tightly woven wooden splint construction. Sturdy and in great condition. 
Measurements: 14 ¾” x 13 ¾” across opening x ~12 ¾” tall to top of handle. The outer sides are 8” tall.
