**SOLD** K1507 Late 19th century Pennsylvania wooden Lantern featuring four glass panels contained within a wooden pinned and post construction frame boasting old yellow painted surface. Door opens freely to access the crudely made metal candle socket.
There is a shaped hole in the top for ventilation purposes which is covered on the exterior with a bent piece of sheet metal to create a hood that protects the candle flame from wind/rain.
A wire bail handle is attached to the top for carrying/hanging purposes. The wood is oak.
Measurements: ~6 ¾” square x ~14” tall – not including handle.
