K1542 19th century Pennsylvania Document Box with spectacular green painted surface bearing "DRIVE. 1886. 1887." exceptionally hand painted in gold with black painted shadowing on the front. The same verbiage/dates are handwritten in pencil inside the lid of the box. Natural patina interior. Small square head nail construction. The wood is pine.
Measurements: 14 ¼” wide x 10 ¼” deep x 7 ¾” tall.
