K1550 A very impressive Peter Hermann Baltimore, MD large crock with applied handles – stamped “3” - decorated with a characteristic stemmed clover motif design that is associated with wares made in Baltimore, MD. A sweeping pattern of brushed flowers enhances this rare, oversized vessel. Peter Hermann was one of Maryland’s premier 19th century potters. 
Circa 1855 – 1870. Chips to rim. 
Measurements: Top opening is out of round and measures 9” x 8”. Overall height is 13 ½” tall.
