**SOLD** K1568 Late 18th - early 19th century Pennsylvania punched tin lantern retaining an old red painted surface. Symmetrically punched and pierced circular patterns of dots and dashes framed by a very visually appealing border adorns the sides, while the hinged door bears symmetrical rows of dots dashes. Hinged door opens for easy access to interior candle socket. Attached round tin handle at the top for carrying / hanging. 
Approximate measurements:  5 ¼” diameter x approximately 14 ¾” tall with ring.
