**SOLD** K1569 19th century punched tin Lantern retaining original worn, blue painted surface. Symmetrically punched and pierced patterned designs consisting of dots and dashes, along with circular holes in conical top for venting purposes. Hinged door opens freely for easy access to interior candle socket and retains its original working hasp closure (loop is missing on cylinder). Attached round metal handle at the top for carrying / hanging. Found in Pennsylvania.
Measurements: ~16” tall (including ring) x 5 1/8” diameter.
