K1612 19th century beautiful Cobalt decorated cake crock – stamped ‘ l ’ - attributed to Richard C. Remmey of Philadelphia, PA - who was a prominent stoneware maker from the 1860’s – 1900. The cylindrical form is cobalt decorated with typical cobalt Remmey swags on all sides with highlights at the lug handles. Incised ring and lipped rim add to the visual appeal.
Measurements: 9 ½” diameter x 5” tall.
