K1621 19th century cobalt blue decorated Stoneware Crock attributed to Remmey of Philadelphia, PA. Stamped “3”. Some incised scarring prior to firing. Ovoid shape with tooled shoulder, grooved collar with flared rim and applied lug handles. Fantastic hand brushed Cobalt flowers and leaves encircle the crock along the shoulder.
Circa 1840s-1860s.
Measurements: 9” top diameter x 13" tall.
