K1627 Early hand-woven splint basket featuring a double-wrapped double-rim with notched, steamed and bent handle in its original green painted surface. The oval top opening tapers to a rectangular shaped bottom. Natural patina interior. Very sturdy basket.
Measurements: 16 ½” x 12” oval top opening. The rectangular bottom measures 10 ½” x 9 ½”. Sides are 6 ¼” tall.
Overall height at handle is 12” tall.
