K1639 Late 19th century – early 20th century Ship Diorama in glass case depicting a three-masted ship with full sails flying an American Flag. The highly detailed, unnamed ship is made of what appears to be a salt glazed style pottery with stitched cloth sails and hand painted water. The glass panes (one has a corner crack) are enclosed in a removeable metal case that retains its mustard paint decorated surface.
Case Measurements: 20 ¾” wide x 10 ¼” deep x 16” tall.
