K1653 Early 19th century Pennsylvania small tabletop Dough Box retaining old blue painted surface. Canted sides and slightly rounded ends. Clean, natural patina interior with wear indicative of use. The wood is pine. Square head nail construction. Circa 1830s-1840s. Measurements: 22” long x 12” wide x 5 ½” tall.
