K1667 19th century Pennsylvania solid wooden drain board with carved grooves, applied sides and raised wooden feet to create an angled surface for easy drainage. The front side piece bears a distinct drain hole and is mortised into each of the side walls. Handwritten label on bottom reads: “Presented to Mrs. L. Jacobs By Louis Sefman March 26, 1915” – however the construction indicates this piece was actually made much earlier. The wood is pine.
Measurements: 22 ¼” long x 17 ¾” wide x 2 ¾” tall sides. 5” tall on highest side and tapers to 3” tall on drain end.
The sides are 5/8” thick.
