**SOLD** K1696 Folk Art Painted Bentwood Pantry Box signed and dated (illegible) by artist “Lew Hudnall”. Very detailed artwork depicts an Eagle on top and a rural town scene encircling the sides. Interior is lined with an Ohio Newspaper dated 1937. Artist, Lew Hudnall (1918-1995) of Dayton, Ohio was known for his distinctive style painting that included both antique-inspired decorative motifs and historically themed scenes. He created many works on canvas, theorems on velvet and repurposed wooden antique items.
Measurements: 14 ¾” diameter (top) x 12 ¾” tall.
