K1709 19th century North Carolina original green painted one drawer table resting on tall, gracefully tapered Hepplewhite legs. The drawer stretchers are mortised through both front and back of the apron. The legs are fully mortised and pegged into the apron. The top is secured with wooden pegs and square head nails. Drawer is mortised / nailed construction.
The wood is yellow pine. Circa 1860s.
Measurements: 25 ¼” wide x 25 ¼” deep x 30 ¾” tall. (25" from apron to floor.)
