**SOLD** K1712 19th century New England hanging whale tail shelf in original red painted surface with three graduated shelves and shaped ends. The shelves are mortised into the sides and the front edge of the middle and bottom shelves are canted to match the delicate flow of the ends. Square head nail construction. Circa 1840-1860s.
Measurements: 33” wide x 9 ¼” deep (side) x 35 ½” tall. Top shelf is 5 ½” deep. Bottom shelf is 7 ¼” deep.
