K172 Signed Pennsylvania Folk Art hand carved and hand painted solid wooden sculpture of Rooster with glass eyes and tail feathers, comb and waddle constructed of shaped and painted tin. Signed “E T Pfoutz '02” on bottom. Mounted on a wooden base for display purposes. The wood is pine. Evidence of an early glued repair to the very tip of beak.
Overall mounted height is 19 ¼” tall. Approximate measurements of rooster itself: ~14” long x ~3” wide x 12” tall.
