K1741 19th century cobalt blue decorated Stoneware Jar attributed to Peter Hermann of Baltimore, Maryland.  Beautiful hand painted heave cobalt blue flowers encircle the tall, cylindrical form with flat bottom, tooled shoulder, and slightly flared, flat-topped rim. Great condition. 
Peter Hermann’s pottery was on Edger Street in Baltimore from 1850-1872.  
Measurements: 4 ¾” top diameter x 5 1/8” bottom diameter x 8 ¾” tall.
