**SOLD** K1748 Early wooden box grater with drawer retaining its original dry white painted surface. Grater boasts a hand punched perforated, heavy metal grater surface over a sturdy full length functional drawer that slides in and out without problems and has a small knob for easy opening/closing. Maker attached a ¾” wide strip of wood across the back to slightly elevate the upper end of the grater when in use. Great wear indicative of age. Circa 1880s.
Measurements: 14 ¼” long x 8 ½” wide x 3 3/8” tall.
