**SOLD** K1766 19th century Pennsylvania wooden Measurer bearing its original dry blue painted surface. It is constructed of wooden staves banded by metal bands around center and bottom, and a steamed and bent wooden top band secured with small tacks and square head nails. 
Natural patina interior with nice wear from years of use. 
This type of measurer was used in early General Stores for measuring grain and such. 
Measurements: 15” top diameter x 13 ¼” bottom diameter x 9 ¼” tall.
