**SOLD** K1803A Early 1930s tin, lithographed, lever action “Kitty Kat” cat with ball bearing manufacturer’s mark for Marx Toys – “Made in United States of America – New York, NY” When this kitty’s lever tail is pushed down, kitty travels forward chasing its red wooden ball. The lever mechanism is in working order and the toy is in very good all original condition with no repairs, or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories, and wear that are to be expected from age and play.

Approximate measurements: ~8” long x ~3 ¼” wide x ~5” tall (at tip of tail).

NOTE:Marx Toys was an American toy manufacturer founded in New York City, N.Y. by Louis & David Marx – in business from around 1919 to 1980. The company was best known for their lithographed tin windup toys and the revival of the Yo-Yo in 1928 – which sold well even through the Great Depression.
