K1809 - Folk Art oil painting by Arthur E. Glazier (East Berlin, Pennsylvania, 1928-2015) depicting a black Man with very detailed facial features wearing a large hat, long-sleeved work shirt, vest and patched trousers. The gentleman is holding a wooden rake with a rooster and chickens surrounding his feet. This wonderful artwork is hand painted on a reclaimed wooden typeset tray and is prominently signed “A. Glazier” at the bottom. This painting was from Mr. Glazier’s private collection.
Measurements: 16 ½” wide x 1 ¼” thick x 32 ¼” tall.
