K1818 Fantastic Delaware Valley 18th Century, arched ladder back armchair retaining mustard yellow painted surface with pinstripe decoration and old woven rush-type seat. Chair retains nicely turned finials on top, as well as its original ball feet and boasts bold ball turnings on the front rung with nice wear. The five arched slats along the back are all mortised and pegged. Very sturdy. Retains good height. Circa 1750 - 1790.
Measurements: 46 ½” tall (back) x 24” wide (front arms) x 17 ½” deep (seat). Seat height is 17”.
