K181 Eastern Shore, Maryland hand woven footed Oak Splint Basket featuring tapered sides resting on single wrapped, steamed and bent footed base. The tall, sturdy, steamed and bent handle is woven into the sides and is secured with tiny tacks into the single wrapped, double rim that matches the footed base. Great natural patina surface with a decorative band of darker woven splints encircling the center of the sides and in the center of the bottom.
Measurements: 10 ¾” x 11 ½” diameter across top x 7” tall sides x ~13” tall with handle. The footed base is ~8 ¼” diameter.
