**SOLD** K1850 Sweet 18th century identified, diminutive Pennsylvania blanket chest retaining original pumpkin painted and decorated surface with the initials “S” and “M” in Period script lettering respectively in the upper corners of the lid that opens to reveal a clean, natural patina interior. The chest boasts a dovetailed case with applied molding around lid and bottom and rests on turned feet that are mortised through the bottom. 
Dovetail and small “T” nail construction.  
This miniature chest bears such great characteristics that would be appealing to sit alone and admire all by itself or add to a stack. 
Measurements: 13 ¾” wide x 8” deep x 8 ¾” tall.
