**SOLD** K1859 19th century New England gathering Basket with the original green paint. Sturdy, oval shaped heavy basket is constructed with a solid wooden double bottom and applied double rim to the top of the basket with a high, solid wooden handle woven into both sides. The rims, handle and double bottoms are all secured with small tacks. This Basket is very well made.
Measurements: 16 ½” long x 11 ½” wide x ~13 ½” tall with handle. The sides are 7 ½” tall.
