K227 Early 20th century Folk Art hand carved Patriotic Ice Fishing Decoy branded D.F.D. on the bottom featuring original red, white and blue painted surface. Wooden body features carved details on the gills and mouth areas with glass eyes and the tin fins retain hand painted stars to match those around the head. Solid wood body with metal weights embedded into the fish’s underbelly. (NOTE: The branding “D.F.D.” represents Duluth Fishing Decoys of Duluth, Minnesota – with all decoys being hand carved and painted by Dave Perkins and his son, Jim.)
