K283 Early 19th century hand chopped wooden Trencher bearing remnants of the original dark blue paint. Trencher features a great worn surface with wonderful patina. The interior of the bowl has worn completely through the bottom from years of extensive use chopping food and/or mixing dough. Circa 1840s.
Measurements: 20 ½” long x 11” wide. The sides are 2 ¼” - 2 ¾” tall, depending where measured.
