K28 Canvasback Decoy by John T. “Baby John” Evans Jr. of Crisfield, MD (1923-1994). Age crack in top of the back as seen in photos. Approximate decoy measurements: 15 ¾” long x 8” wide x 7 ½” tall. NOTE: Evans was a World War II Veteran, and a retiree of the Maryland National Guard after 27 years of service. He was also a (retired) carpenter and wood carver.
