K96 Pie Safe
K96 19th century North Carolina original black painted Food Closet / Pie Safe with a total of 10 hand punched tins featuring pinwheels and hearts. The top two doors each feature three tins over two panel doors below and each end features two tins over a panel below. Basic applied molding surrounds the top. The case is fully mortised and pegged with square head nail construction and rests on raised feet. Tins are applied with small tacks with rounded heads. Circa 1840s - 1860s. Very clean, natural patina interior. 
Measurements:  At top molding: 42 ½” wide x 16 ½” deep Case is 38 ½” wide x 14 ¾” deep. Overall height is 68 ¼” tall.
