L166 Unique late-18th century to early 19th century Lancaster County, Pennsylvania original red painted two-piece stepback cupboard boasting an unusual configuration resting on an applied dovetailed bracket base with decorative cut out feet. The layout of the top consists of two fully mortised and pegged split panel doors that open to reveal shelves with plate grooves and a spoon rack along the shelf fronts. The layout of the lower part of the cupboard consists of two dovetailed drawers over two panel doors with five smaller dovetailed drawers in the center.  Cupboard is dovetailed and mortised and pegged construction with “T” nails and square head nails. Circa 1780 – 1810. Measurements: 58 ½” wide (at waist) x 21” deep x 82 ½” tall.
