L175 Mid-19th century Tin Bound Bentwood nine piece Spice Set with patent date on bottom – ‘PATENT PACKAGE CO NEWARK NEW JERSEY AUG 31,1858’. This set is all original and complete – with seven internal canisters (2 5/8” diameter x 2 ¾” tall) include: Ginger, Cloves, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Allspice, Mustard, and Mace around the slightly larger center canister (3 ¼” diameter x 2 ¾” tall) marked Pepper. The letters are stenciled in black on all lids and sides of each box.
Outer box measures 9 ½” diameter x 3 ¼” tall.
