L205 Vintage Upper Bay Blue Winged Teal Drake Duck Decoy carved by Paul Gibson (1902-1984) of Havre de Grace, MD. This decoy bears its original painted surface, and the original weight, staple and ring all remain intact on the bottom.
Paul Gibson was an avid hunter and a fireman on the Edgewood Arsenal (now known as Aberdeen Proving Ground South), retiring in 1965 as the Department Chief. In 1915, Gibson began using his spare time to make decoys – of which have become highly sought after for their quality.
