L220 19th century mid-Atlantic cobalt blue decorated 4-Gallon Stoneware Crock. Ovoid shape with tooled shoulder, grooved collar with squared rim and applied lug handles. Prominently stamped “4” beneath one of the handles. Fantastic hand brushed Cobalt flowers and leaves encircle the crock along the shoulder and below the handles. Circa 1840s-1860s. Measurements: 8” diameter (bottom) x 8 ¼”- 8 ½” diameter (top) x 14 ½” tall
