L221 19th century cobalt blue decorated Stoneware Jar attributed to Peter Hermann of Baltimore, Maryland.  Beautiful hand painted heavy cobalt blue flowers adorn both sides of the tall, cylindrical form crock with flat bottom, tooled shoulder, and flat-topped rim. Peter Hermann’s pottery was on Edger Street in Baltimore from 1850-1872.  
Measurements: 6” – 6 ¼” top diameter x 10” tall.
