L248 19th century wooden firkin with staved sides and steamed and bent handle secured with wooden pegs bearing original old pale blue painted surface. The finger lapped bands are secured with copper tacks. Very sturdy. Great natural patina inside.
Measurements: 9 ½” bottom diameter x 9” top diameter x 8 ¾” tall.
