L249 19th century wooden firkin with staved sides and steamed and bent handle secured with wooden pegs bearing old pale mustard over original red painted surface. The finger lapped bands are secured with copper tacks. Very sturdy with great wear from years of use. Great natural patina inside.
Measurements: 11 ½” top diameter x 12 ¼” bottom diameter x 11 ¾” tall.
